Hey Crossroads families with kids and students! Join us for a fun family day on Saturday, April 12th for our next family ministry event! It will be at Play-A-Round Family Fun Center in Yorktown from 10am until 12pm. Have fun as a family and with other families by playing mini golf. Registration is required.

Help us save lives by donating blood or volunteering to help at our next American Red Cross Blood Drive. There has been a 10% decrease in overall blood donations since 2020. We all know what a great job THRIVE does helping people and families on the peninsula, but did you know that they can’t do that great work without you – yes, you! People like you volunteering, donating food and doing many other things that makes it possible for THRIVE to serve our community. So, this April, Crossroads will love our neighbors through what we call The THRIVE Drive. There are many ways to participate in The THRIVE Drive: you can collect and donate food items or volunteer at one of the volunteer opportunities or you can simply donate to the Big Give. There is also an opportunity to tour the THRIVE facility. So many ways to help, so come on out and let’s show THRIVE and our community God’s love for them!

Ladies of Crossroads, are you seeking connection and friendship with others? You’re not alone! Our busy lifestyles make it difficult to foster new relationships…but we may be able to help with that. On Friday April 25th and Saturday April 26th, we will be having a women’s retreat here at the church. The theme is Friends for the Journey. Throughout the weekend, there will be opportunities to find common ground with other women in a variety of activities including sports, arts and crafts, gardening and more! Pair that with amazing Christ-centered talks, good food, & worship and this will be a weekend you don’t want to miss! Oh, and by the way…cost is FREE! We look forward to seeing you there!

We will meet right after the 11:00 am service on May 4th for lunch. If you aren’t able to meet in person, choose the virtual option when you sign up and we’d be glad to set up a zoom session when you are available.

Crossroads….the Nicaragua 5k is coming up soon and everything is looking good for another fantastic event. The only thing we are missing is you, yes you! We need volunteers to help set up and run this great event. You can help out as a road guard on the course, at the water stop, or in a variety of other positions. So, if you are not planning on running or walking the Nicaragua 5k but still want to help out, please consider volunteering, we can’t do this event without YOU!
